What biome will you typically find zebras, gazelles, and cheetahs? In this biome you will find very few trees and rolling grasslands. These animals and plants live in a biome that has two distinct seasons...wet and dry. Why are there just two distinct seasons? What is the name of this biome and where on earth can you find it?
i get all of it but what do you mean by rolling grasslands
ReplyDeleteI was just trying to make it interesting. This biome is also known as the grassland because it is mainly made up of grass.

ReplyDeleteYes, it can be hot. Tell me more...google if you have to :)
Savannas have warm temperature year round. There are actually two very different seasons in a savanna; a very long dry season (winter), and a very wet season (summer).
ReplyDeleteResponse to Anayzia,
ReplyDeleteAwesome response...Can anyone explain what happens to the population of the animals during the wet season?
response to ms.cawley i believe they migrate
ReplyDeleteResponse to Anayzia,
ReplyDeleteWhy would they migrate if there is plenty of water available from the rain?
response to ms.cawley
ReplyDeleteidk probally there traits help them?
animals and plants die from the water they loss
ReplyDeleteResponse to all,
ReplyDeleteWater and food are plentiful during the wet season and not so much during the dry. If there is alot of food and water, how will the animals and plants take advantage of this?
response to ms.cawley
ReplyDeletethe animals and plant will probally use all of the food and water they can get in order to survive and proballyy reproduce?!
is that right?ms.cawley
Response to Anayzia,
ReplyDeleteyesss
it is savanah
ReplyDeleteResponse to Anayzia,
ReplyDeleteYes, during the wet season animals and plants tend to reproduce more because there are a lot of resources. During the dry season, what will occur between animals and plants to get the limited resources.
response to ms.cawley im still thinking about it
